Linux Title Bar too wide

Hi,

Am using Ubuntu Karmic and my problem is that the title bars of the program windows are too wide because the program icon and the menu options are on separate lines. Is there an easy (read GUI) way to bring both on the same line? I tried messing with the Appearance in System --> Preferences but didn't help. If you guys offer a Terminal solution; am a total noob so I'll need step by step instructions. :blushing:

titlebar is not too wide. its your theme that has the same colour for titlebar and the menubar (they are two separate things) you can customise this theme in appearance-and-settings... just change the menubar colour to match the window colour...

@Darkstar: Am in office now so can't change the theme and see if it's a theme problem. Anyway, I'd rather not change the theme. :)
