Did you get the May 2005 Digit DVD?
If not, get it..the TM Mag demo comes with that mag..
with no protection and i agree its an excellent tp game.. :)

Note: tp = time pass

I dont have a DVD drive, I think its because my friend had given an Original ISO of the game, and tried to install it, hence now I cant even install the demo !!! Anyone knows how to remove the Starforce protection registry values ?

Well since star-force is constantly changing you can use programs to remove the driver one is available from starforce website or the game company's website (but sometimes it will auto reinstall, it sounds alot like a virus to me) but to completely remove the registry entry's and who knows what else i don't think a program can do it yet.

The short answer would be to clean format.

Hope it helps....

Hmm thanx ppl will give it a try. BTW Sawmill is that a software to bypass Starforce completely ? or just a workaround for its side effects like demo's not working etc...

Nah it ain't a permanent soultion cause SF stays on your system even after you uninstall the game. Best thing to do is look for a no cd crack. All SF related cracks are pretty hefty (somethin like 90mbs :)).
BTW Splinter Cell Chaos Theory is protected with SF 3, much much more porblematic. Its known to completely mess up the Windows registry in some cases and even worse in others.

SF can be removed but games using it won't work once it's removed unless you download those 100-200mb cracks.

You can play SF protected games by manually disconnecting your optical drives and mounting a mini image of the said game on a virtual drive.
StarForce Nightmare only allows you do the same without the manual disconnecting, you still need to mount a mini image.

It's not a workaround, it's simply for people who have the warezed version or people who hate having to pop in the cd everytime they want to play.

They include it in demos as well so that crackers can't look at the demo's .exe for clues leading to a crack.

Please stay on topic. Please dont discuss warez or anything related to cracks, hacks as such or else i might have to close the thread.
