How to DM to eliminate bad sectors from HDD?

Try HDDregenerator... alternatively u cud run scandisk in dos mode and mark em out.

If the Bad sector is in the beginning of the drive the WINXP disk manager can help, just make a small partition that occupies the bad sector, and then create all other partitions, finally, just delete the first partition . not the most precise methood though, yet i have used it on my samsung HDD for more than 2 yrs, working perfactly even now

HDDregenerator does not require to delete the partitions or touch your data..

U cannot fix BadSector.only thing u can do is mark them BAD so that data is not copied there.most of the Badsector fix softwares do this.There are some advanced softwares which hides bad sector(useful when selling the HDD...oooopss i think i have spilled out the secert)
