I saw in your pic you connect iPhone base connector with E17 3.5 mm jack why not connect with iPhone 3.5 mm to E17 3.5mm. By connecting through base connector you get more amplify signals ?

By connecting with lod cable, I bypassed IPhones amp.
By, connecting thru 3.5mm does do double amplify the signal.
E17 is dac/amp, hence it's better to bypass the defaults iPhones dac for more clear & details.
