CPU/Mobo To upgrade or not to upgrade to DDR3

Hi

I have Biostar 790gx a2+ and 720 BE .i am selling 720 BE it to a cousin and getting athlon 620 or 550 BE unlocked.

Now i am happy with my mobo but since DDR2 prices have gone crazy I am left with only 2 GB DDR2 RAM. Should I get MSI 785 E51(DDR3) or just wait for another year before changing the board??
 
Since you have only 2 gb DDR2 now , i think there's no sense buying and keeping DDR2 now

Upgrade to DDR3 coz DDR2 prices will rise even higher
