Does the word recurve refer to the curved ends of the bow ?

If so think I read somewhere that this increases the range of the bow.

I was at the custom office and there i saw airguns/rifles being inspected by the customs. I think they know its for athletics rather then any other use.

What i am Doing Is Ordering the Handle In a Seperate Parcel and the Two Slings in a different one ,they will Never Know its a Bow LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
