Hi guys , looking for a new front loading washing machines .. gone through few old threads here on TE '

Ohh,, the title is misleading .. looking for front loading and not top loading.. typo error ..

People seems to be impressed with Whirlpool SUD701 and LG WD-12485TP . Was thinking about IFB ones but after going through old threads decided against it . I have not been to any shop yet ..

Any other suggestions than these two to look for ? :)

Went to few shops today. Only reliance digital had Whirlpooi SUD-701 and was getting it at pretty decent price of 21.5k with exchange of my old machine but it was a display piece and had few marks here and there , hence decided against it :( Was very interested to buy it but nobody else had this model and most said its been discontinued and whirlpool is not good for front loading ones..

Few shops have suggested me Siemens and Lg ones ( direct drive tech ones ) , now I am very confused .. Also is IFB senator 6 a good one?

Guys , I have gone through few old threads but those are pretty old ones hence need some expert advice on this .. :)

I've personaly used Siemens front loading machine. Purchased it from Kohinoor vashi for around 22.5k aftr hard bargaining. Believe me it is a very good Washing machine and consumes very less electricity. Only disadvantage being long wash cycle time.

Heard a lot about LG direct drive, should be good.

The direct drive models are indeed very good. Siemens is nice, if you can afford it. Otherwise, LG and Onida have similar (direct drive) models for cheaper.

Thanks for the suggestion. Which model of Siemens? I mean capacity ? So should I avoid IFB at all costs cos the Senator 6kg one looks pretty decent to me.
