I got to get this software named uTorrent Turbo Booster.....

I want to check it out among you people that they actually help you out in increasing you torrent download and upload speed somehow....Or
is a waste software like every other softwares out there.....
I got to get it on ThePirateBay...and Many other Public Tracker....http://www.techenclave.com/images/smilies/happy64.gif

Morever in this thread I wanted to know the Risks of Port forwarding.....

I become curious about thing when one my friend with 256 kbps bsnl brdbnd unlimited connection...forwarded his port and downloaded movies for about a week ...after which he got attacked by a very harmfull attack...

And the problem was not resolved even after formatting windows....
His hardisk access speed became too low....
Actually few of the attacks I observed myself on my system......When my Kaspersky Internet Security tracked some attack from the TCP connection and blocked them......"Thats why they rate Kaspersky so High"

Another thing,
whether all the access is Harmfull...or some are good too boost your upload and download speed on Private tracker....

One of my friend advised about CLOSING ALL OTHER UNNECESSARY port ....while port forwarding.....

He suggested this software named pierre cardin for same purpouse...But i am not geting the link to this software(maybe name is wrong).....

And anyone can help me in suggesting some similar and good port blocking software...

yes opening port is a little risky but only when someone quite skilled is out to get you. if you keep your surfing clean and sensible and have no infection on the comp, one open port is no issue. In any case, if you want to enjoy Bit Torrent, you need to have open port.

Ideally, you should close all your unused ports. use your routers config page (192.168.1.1) to secure your network. Use google to go to shields up website and check the ports.

Some of the entries in Kaspersky log may show up as attacks but in most cases it's false alarm. The entries could be because all connections are not terminated as soon as you exit uTorrent. kaspoersky may flag some of these connections as attacks.

And what about uTorrent Booster you will say

as far as I know, there is no application that will let you achieve speeds more than what is specified by your ISP at your connection. Though you can optimize your connection for torrents by Patching TCP/IP as well choosing right settings in Bit Torrent client. But this is better done manually rather than through some program

Thanks man....Thanks for name resolving....

I assume that will do....for me....

And for firewall you are telling me to go for Comodo....Actually I know it is good ...But whether it is Better than Kaspersky firewalll...

Comodo is a little more confusing. If you have Kasperesky, no need to switch to Komodo. Just take care of your ports by using Router Config page
PS: Please, don't put so many questions in so many posts. Just use one post at a time.

I also hope that you are using a legit version of Kaspersky. Malware can also be causing your attacks and hogging your bandwidth besides you know who (or not).

there is no such thing as uTorrent booster. :P

Better tweak your torrent client optimally according to your connection. Check out uTorrent's home forum for this.

Thanks morgoth, that will help a lot....

Thanks ... Free Radical....

Yeah I am ising Legit version of Kaspersky Internet Security..(I bought a three key pack)......

I will check out uTorrent`s home to tweak my Client setting...

And will also use morgoth advice to tune my TCP/IP connection...
