Torrents dont work anymore!

My torrents don't seem to work anymore. The torrent selected in the screenshot (PFA) is supposed to have over 300 seeds. I am on Airtel Broadband, Bangalore. Connecting to trackers says "Connection timed out". I have tested Bittorrent client, utorrent and Flashget. All give the same results.

PS: All the torrents in the screenshot has enough seeds.

What can be the problem?

Which website are you using to download these torrents ?

The problem can be the tracker also . Try downloading those torrents from a different tracker also !

ukw, i am also facing the same problem, (airtel, bangalore), i am unable to download torrents, same problem as OP

I think it might be airtel screwing around with the torrents. Heard they are messing with the announce thing of torrent clients and also meddling with the torrents packets.

Yah, airtel, bangalore has this thing going on from long time. Most torrents dont work

1. forward ports

2. use opendns, google public dns

3. private trackers not trackers like tpb.

tpb tracker does not exist anymore. they have removed it in favour of DHT.

Try using a free VPN like usa ip USA IP, American IP, VPN, VPS, iTunes and then if it works, you know whom to blame.

ran the glasnost test, got following result..

in their tests, bittorrent acheived DL speed, am still getting the same error though, DHT Waiting to Log in and DL=0

yeah well seems so they have definetely changed routing

Try enabling ''Upnp'' in your modem settings,,,, it worked for me once !

hi all, the torrents are mysteriously working again from monday, thanks for replying guys
