Storage Solutions Toshiba 1 TB Hard Drives come with 5 years warranty?

I need to buy a 1/2tb hdd , Both WD & seagate have reduced the warranty periods for their drives recently

I saw in the cost2cost price list, it says under hardisks - "1 TB SATA TOSHIBA (5 YEAR)" http://www.costtocost.in/list/pricelist.pdf

So this has to be the best deal for 1 tb hdd in India?

Toshiba has just 1 year of warranty and that too they don't make 3.5'' inch harddisk ,while seagate and western digital has 2 years of warranty

^ I know that 1 year was changed to 3 years wef 1st september for their external drives, this is on their site warranty page
