It looks good for that price. And with Manufacturer warranty too.

I would suggest you check out this model in a local store and then decide.
 
its audio quality is poor (some says its average under a mid level volume)( as comapred to recent new models), also its made in India by Videocon electronics using imported panels.

Ok I have this tv,installed in a kinda small room, 12X8 feet size, here are my inputs.

It has 1 input for hdmi, No usb, regular composite, input for cable tv.
Used it for few days while it was connected to Airtel Iptv.
Now using on regular cablewallah connection.

Panel is fine, audio output was below avg when it was on Iptv, did all the settings but dunno why was not very good.
when I stitched to regular cable, audio output is fine. B4 making purchase, I had a word with Toshiba service engineer, he said no problems received so far. I saw the tv in action at a showroom and purchased from somewhere else at 16K. I am in delhi.

Vfm hai anyway you look at it.

Dont expect very acute viewing angles as its not IPS, but its great for normal viewing. Colors are good. At this price range you will not get more than 26" of any other brand (not counting mitashi, koryo....etc). Wall mounting will be done by company free of cost, in standard packaging, comes with stand.

How about Akai 32d20 led. It plays all formats including mkv even directly from usb hdd. It is priced around 24k. Another model was Toshiba av650E it has usb and 2 hdmi inputs. SQ wise toshiba wins but feature wise Akai is a winner but toshiba sells for 19K. Akai has good looks and very thin and wow factor.

Akai may be good but I gen stay away from it. New crop of Toshiba also play all formats from usb. Moreover for me, purchase decision is biased towards the product where it meets my requirements and I know strings can be pulled in the company IF some issue arises.

I got Toshiba regza 32pb10 today. The viewing angle is almost par with sony and samsung but not with panny. Panasonic has the edge with the wide viewing angle. The PQ is nice and good with really good flesh tones. Panasonic looks artificial wrt to flesh tones.
