Storage Solutions Toshiba laptop HDD - warranty ?

Hi,
I am planning to get a 1TB Toshiba laptop HDD.

As per paytm, it comes with 2 years warranty. But as per toshiba site it comes with 3 years warranty.
Can anybody please clearify and also share any products registration / RMA details.

Toshiba India gives 2 year warranty on HDD and their warranty partner is Rashi Peripherals

As per the documentation of their site, Toshiba MQ01ABD100 model HDD comes with 3 years

Is there any drive which comes with 3 years of warranty.

does toshiba still makes hard drive .... i belive the name was changed to HGST.

EDIT : sorry i am just stupid hitachi is hgst now ..... toshiba got into making hard drives again in 2012

^ When WD acquired Hitachi/HGST, to meet regulatory guidelines they had to sell HGST's 3.5" HDD business to Toshiba. WD only has HGST's 2.5" HDD business.
