TPB torrents stay on checked 0.0% after downloading metadata (magnet links)

I am facing this issue wherein when i am downloading magnet links from TPB, the metadata gets downloaded fine but then the torrent stays at "Checked 0.0%" and never start the download.
There is no issue when actual torrent file is downloaded or when using any other trackers.
What might be the issue ?
 
Do you have another machine where you can check whether this continues to happen?

I had this problem once.
It used to stay on 0% in all the machines! Gobsmacked i know but it happened and several headscratching days and multiple router hard resets and soft resets later just changed the damn router.
Had tried everything under my control at that point.

I hope your problem ain't as annoying as mine.

Here is what i would do -
1 : check on an alternative machine
2: check on a different client
3: reset the router

This happened to me once when I updated uTorrent, they issued a bug fix in a couple of hours.
 
Faced something similar - was an ISP issue. Confirmed this by using a VPN. If the supernodes are blocked - this is what happens.
 
I feel this may be ISP issue since I never faced this issue at my Pune residence on YOU broadband.
Here in Mumbai I have MTNL broadband.
 
my magnet links are working on MTNL Mumbai using uTorrent. Had used TPB last week and just today used eztv and the torrent is working.
 
Same happened with me. And is still happening.

Ofcourse I'll blame mtnl.. I downloaded a similar torrent from another site, working fine..

Who else to blame :P

Then how is the website to your local machine speed ? Full speed of your connection ?
Because i need this in cases where i have to download a torrent with very low seeds and which will take lot of time if done directly and instead want to use such type of free service.

bottleneck is the ISP. i.e full speeds.
 
The limitation is on the file size and time taken to download - they do not keep the file for more than 48 hours after downloading.

Tried zbigz, i do not get full speed when downloading using IDM from their website to local machine. They claim 150 KBps for free users and mine is 1 Mbps connection so max i can get is around 110+ kBps download speed but when downloading through zbigz the speed varies a lot (in IDM) and i never get more than 60 kBps.
Tried 2 parallel downloads from them and still max i can touch is 70-75 kBps combined.

did not download much from zbigz.
i did download a lot from furk.net
once when you login through your facebook id, you get 1GB daily free download.
the files are not deleted from the account.
