TRAI in its letter to the Department of Telecommunications (DOT), Ministry of Communications & IT, has recommended that DOT de-license frequency 5.150 - 5.350 GHz and 5.725 - 5.875 GHz for outdoor usage and identify additional spectrum, which are not in high usage for the provision of broadband services.
