hi i am going to purchase a transcend ram from a respectable member of TE from "other city".
Can i avail the warranty services of transcend? and what is the process?

I am asking this because Transcend RAM`s After Sales Service is through the Dealer from which it has been purchased, and they have no service center in delhi.:)
 
AFAIK,

All Transcend product have to be claimed warranty only thru retailers/shop keepers only; that too u should have the bill and box (bcoz only thru the bill and serial no. at the box they will know from whom (distributor) they have bought the product). But if u have those bill and box u will get a replacement immediately faster than Corsair services. hand on hand replacement. and i think transcend has lifetime warranty.

but according to you if i have the box and bill then there is hand to hand replacement. but who will give hand to hand replacement(i.e. Retailer from which it is purchased or the distributor).

And one thing i already own a 512MB RAM but i never get hand to hand replacement, everytime i have to wait upto 10-15 days for the replacement.
 
As of in Bangalore, what i have seen and experienced is the retailer/shop keeper/ handles the request for ram and gives replacement new one immediately. not like u said 10 -15 days... might be in Delhi will be like that.. lol//

checked with the distri... said that, no need of bill have to submit with accel frontline and it will take some 10 days for rma.. changed the procedures.
