Hi Techies,
I have a query about my friend's Transcend Storejet 320GB Portable HDD.
Well, he has had this drive for ~4 Months. It carries a 2 Year Warranty.
The drive went dead few days ago all by itself. No Physical/Liquid/Burn damage.
My friend is leaving for Oz next week & he gave the drive & bill to me & asked me to RMA it & keep the new drive for myself!!!
Now, I already have a 1TB internal & a 320GB external is not what I need.
So, can I ask the dealer to give me a 500GB in RMA & take the excess amount from me?
Do they allow such RMAs? Or will I have to keep the 320GB one??
