Transmission, one of the most popular BitTorrent clients for OS X and Linux, has finally arrived on Windows after roughly a decade in existence.
The open-source file sharing app, developed by volunteers and available without ads for free, boasts a small footprint (about 25MB on Windows), support for encryption, a Web interface so you can control it through your browser, as well as the ability to set different speed limits for individual torrents.

is it better than utorrent ?

Anything is better than utorrent, it all went to shit after version 2.2.1. Been using qBittorrent for the last 2 years and haven't looked back ever since, Deluge is another solid alternative.
I've used Transmission in the past on seedboxes and it was a good experiece although its reputation took a hit last month when the Mac installer included ransomware.

Am still using uTorrent 2.2.X! So much better and simpler.

qBittorrent is reminescent of the old utorrent which is why I use it. It's a simple, no frills, ad free, lite torrent client that works without any problems. I'd still have been using utorrent 2.2.1 but I lost the setup when a hard drive failed and all the ones available online just wouldn't run on my pc for some reason at that time so I had to move on.
Also, torrent clients won't magically increase your bandwidth so don't bother if you're on 2.2.1

I've been using uTorrent 3.3.2 occasionally (don't really DL that much), but can you tell me why qBittorrent is better?

haha hi. nope. genuinely saying, if utorrent is bothering you for some reason, then miniget is a good option for the same reasons utorrent got known for. :p

but, yeah, I just use free download managers for the torrents also :)
