Graphic Cards Transparency AA for GF6 series

" It looks like the *only* difference it makes is in 2D fence/gate sprites and that's only when AA is on. I seriously doubt people bought series 7 cards just for this. When you're running around gunning down terrorists you're not going to notice this and think "ooh look, the fence looks better at this angle..." "

This was one of the posts in that section....

true :P i dont mind jaggies even :ashamed: as long as they are not unbearable :) and someone told me transparency AA was possible on an ATI 9600 pro .. is that true :S...

Well ... TAA really polishes the whole scene .. specially if ur using Supersampling TAA ... make sure u use Supersampling AA in the game too ..

Using nvidia CP u generally force Multisampling .. use nHancer , and u'll see the real thing ..

Also , 7 Series does Gamma Correct AA .. and the 6 Series can do that too , without any performance hit .. a very bad marketing policy .. take a look here for better screenies :

Also , in general , 91.45 is a really awesome driver set ... the TAA is really a great addition , as AA samples are greatly improved .. somewhere where ATi has an edge till now .. but whatever , u need to play at higher res. too ..
