Car & Bike Transporting bike from Tamil Nadu to Karnataka

Hi,
I have to take my bike from Tamil Nadu(Coimbatore) to Karanataka(Bangalore). So do i need to change the number plate.? What is the procedure to ride a different state bike in Karanataka without getting caught by police. Recently i heard that the supreme court has put an order that we can ride other state bikes just by having a NOC. Do anyone know in detail about it Or any other sites where i can post this query.?

Transport Department

No need to change number plate, you can pay the road tax and ride the vehicle. Dont remember the NOC part.

Jus ride the bike to bangalore.

Take all the documents.

Go to Koramangala BDC.u will have many agents roaming there.

beware they will ask some 5k jus for paying the tax.

i thinks its approx 2500 i paid some 2800+.

finally do vehicle emission check.u r done and ready to take on the streets if bengalooru.
