Tricks or coupons to get the best discounts on Domestic flights

Hey Guys,

Am planning for a trip in may and looking for information from you guys. Do you know off any method to get good discounts on the ticket prices.
Another thing I want to know is if there are credit or debit cards that offer good cashbacks for flight tkt payments.

I have achieved great success simply by timing my purchases. Either book tickets very early or wait for discounts. Regularly check cheap airliner sites. I flew in like 150 Rs. half a dozen times (not in India, though)

An example, again not a domestic example, but currently, the VietJet website offering flights from India to Vietnam for just around 10 dollars.

1. Try pricing on Skyscanner and Skiplagged.
2. Then try googling but within incognito mode. They jack up prices by analyzing cookies and behavior.
3. Try smaller cities, for e.g. I got Lucknow to Kochi for 4k while Delhi to Kochi was 7k.
4. Check new user offers
5. Pay via SBI Cashback card to get 5% flat cashback.
 
Skyscanner doesn't tend to always have the best rates. Google flights works best in terms of aggregation. If you have a SBI CC card, then using it on sites with credit card discounts along with the 5% cashback is usually the cheapest.
