Google sketch up is a 3d modelling tool which has over 30 million users . Google is selling the product to Trimble to focus more on their core products . Even though they are selling the product they are promising the users there will be a free version of the product . The users are, however, rejoicing that they will be freed from Groups for SketchUp discussions
