Linux Tripleboot, how ?

Hello,

First of all, my disk structure
C: Installed XP
D: Data
E: Data
F: Data (Planning to install Win 7 here)
G: Ubuntu

So, I currently dual boot. I have XP & Ubuntu both installed and I dual boot. Now my problem is how to install Win 7 :huh: ??

I have GRUB bootloader. Now I fear that after installing Win 7 , my GRUB will be gone. And I will get the option of just Win 7. Right ? Now what should I do ?

What am I planning to do is I install Win 7 on F: , and then I'll restore GRUB . But will Win 7 + XP both will be shown in it ? I hope they will, after restoring GRUB. But then also pls guide me.

Install Win 7 on F: . then you will see two entry in the boot menu of Win 7 like

Earlier version of Windows

Windows 7

Now insert your Ubuntu CD/DVD and install grub ( I hope you know the commands )

Then you can see the GRUB menu and there will be only one Windows Entry. Entering that, you will see the two windows entry(boot menu).

just install windows 7, then later you can restore grub and edit menu lst to include windows 7 too.

ok, I will install Win 7 and then will restore GRUB. I will bump this thread if I require help again
