Hello,

First of all, my disk structure
C: Installed XP
D: Data
E: Data
F: Data (Planning to install Win 7 here)
G: Ubuntu

So, I currently dual boot. I have XP & Ubuntu both installed and I dual boot. Now my problem is how to install Win 7  ??

I have GRUB bootloader. Now I fear that after installing Win 7 , my GRUB will be gone. And I will get the option of just Win 7. Right ? Now what should I do ?

What am I planning to do is I install Win 7 on F: , and then I'll restore GRUB . But will Win 7 + XP both will be shown in it ? I hope they will, after restoring GRUB. But then also pls guide me.

Thnx.

Install Win 7 on F: . then you will see two entry in the boot menu of Win 7 like

Earlier version of Windows

Windows 7

Now insert your Ubuntu CD/DVD and install grub ( I hope you know the commands :) )

Then you can see the GRUB menu and there will be only one Windows Entry. Entering that, you will see the two windows entry(boot menu).
