Hi i recently purchased this router, but to my surprise this thing does'nt have rj-11 socket in it. Where do i put the phone line cable? Or do i need a modem to connect to internet along with this router? Seriously if it does require a modem along with it then whats the point of this crap product? I have bsnl connection, currently this router is using my modem to connect to internet. And also how do i configure it to bridge mode, so that i can use windows dialer to connect to internet manually?

Well its a standalone router so its you who should have done some research before purchasing it. So technically its not the product to blame, but the buyer's lack of research.

Assuming its UT-300R2U modem , go to your bsnl modem settings and change from pppoe to bridge mode.

A router requires a modem for the internet connection. What you're looking for is a gateway, i.e., a router plus modem. I believe what you need is the WAG54G2 not the WRT54G2. Like The Sorcerer said, next time do some research before buying a product.
