Trouble with registering to PSN

Hi All,
Recently bought a PS3 and I wanted to create a PSN id. But whenever I open the registration page from my PS3 it changes to some Russian language options. I can't understand head and tail of it. Any idea what is wrong with my PS3 or settings? I bought it in India only with proper bill&warranty. I'm kind of noob to PS3 world and so I'm bit clueless here.

It did happen to me as well with the 80GB phat. Even though the language settings're set to English, this's bound to happen. You need to browse the options with a few trail and errors. You're bound to get it right the nth time - give it a shot!

I too got that bit of russian while Signing Up. Keep pressing the X button and finally u will have text in English

Hi..

Go to PSN site from your comp and create the id. that you can use it in your ps3.

Spot on. Happened with me as well. I created using the Sony website, on my PC.
