Tuniq TX-2 and TX-4 Review | Skinnee Labs
... ~$2/g isn’t so great for a mid-range paste. What’s worse is that I was only able to get 4-5 mounts per syringe, coming in at over a dollar a mount. For reference, MX-2 is maybe 20c a mount and PK-1 is roughly a dollar a mount ...

Starting with TX-2, we’re just not sold on it being worthwhile. Compared to MX-2, it’s worse in every way except with Poor Contact (which is most indicative of performance on VRMs, VRAM, and some GPU blocks with poor mounting and contact). We’ve liked other pastes that didn’t quite measure up to MX-2, but there’s one big difference with those compared to TX-2: price. TX-2 costs more per mount than PK-1 and falls behind MX-2 in performance, just not a worthwhile combination.

Just 4 - 5 mounts ? I got TX-2 for $8 !

The mx 2 i have has already done more than 5 mounts and i think more than half is still in the tube unless the remainder is flavoured air :P

Whoa.. Now thats a biased story! My tuniq has lasted 6 applications and will last another 4. I have used tx2 and noctua and mx2. Tx2 was best and easiest to apply.

Such biased reviews should be trashed literally!!!

Ive personally felt TX-2 to be better performer than MX-2 but it dries up earlier though. Anyway PK-1 is over hyped even though better than those both, but the volume content in pk-1 tube is almost double that of mx-2/tx-2 for sure.
