Well u may notice that it says that the Pentium M's outperform even regular A64s!!
Now I know that PentiumM is really good, but I have never heard of THAT b4.
AFAIK their performance is a tad lower on the gaming side due to fewer FPUs.

GamePC.com is a computer sales company, hence i wouldn't trust any of their reviews.

Here's a previous review by them comparing the P4 EE vs A64 vs Pentium-M.

The benchies look a little fishy, although for one they're comparing the 400Mhz FSB versions of the Pentium M's while the Turion review uses the 533Mhz FSB version. Still, while looking at certain tests like the Sandra CPU Arithmetic Benchmark, the performance jump for the 400Mhz Pentium M to a 533Mhz one(with a bit of increase in clock speed) is a little unrealistic. The Maya - Zoo Render benchmark shows a startling drop from 124 seconds to 86 seconds.

looks like it.. i read elsewhere where ppl discussed how Doom3 n Q3 were missed from the benchmarks.. :D

I think these days we expect too much even from a lappy :ohyeah:

Well, its not necessarily about gaming on the laptop, we're trying to find how much potential the Pentium-M chip has considering it seems to be pretty capable for a laptop/low-powered/low-heat output processor.

Playing Q3A n Unreal on a lappy

I don't that's expecting too much from a lappy. In fact, a lappy of today's standards should be at least that powerful enough to run Q3A n UT! :P :ohyeah:
