TV broadcast revolution from DEC 17

Yes, it is really a TV broadcast revolution in India.

The 1st WIDE-SCREEN format (just previous step from High-Defination) broadcast of all STAR-WAR movies in STAR-MOVIES.

So, guys, who have both old TV lying (not using right now) as well as that WIDE-SCREEN LCD, its time to start both of them side by side, and compair, and post your experience here.

Wide screen format is just that it will support 16:9 aspect ratio, so all those plasma's and LCD wont have that strecthed images, they should have enabled this feature in DTH systems quite a while back.

^^ Nope I watched the entire bond series on my 29" CRT

Its just that there's a black border on the top & bottom, hardly visible, but sets the aspect ratio to 16:9 (instead of 4:3 on CRT's)

Nope its just like watching movies on comp, there are two black bands at the top and bottom.

^LOL.. I have all 6 of the DVDs. Originals, of course. Imma Star Wars freak. All are widescreen.. look quite nice on the vx2025
