Laptops TV-out from laptop without S-Video

I have an acer laptop which sadly lacks any inbuilt TV-out ports (just a single VGA port). I was interested in hooking it up with my TV for movie viewing, so what would be the best solution for that in absence of S-video ports or anything like that?
