hmmmmm... what bout the new nvidia mce edition tht nvidia has launched its dual card or w.e.
archer > all i need is to see a perosnal tv in my 19 inch monitor and yes a extremely good recording support!.
can i use any tv tuner cards like this say using the tv tuner and the output is being split by 2 monitors using the nvida nview.[dual display]
 
Well don't know much about the nvidia tuner cards.Never used them or seen them in action.Read some reviews about them before purchasing them!!

BTW , is this ( nvidia ) tuner card available in india? If so what's the cost here and where to get them???

I am dying to get a decent tuner card in india.
 
You can have a look at COMPRO Videomate Cards offered by Mediatech India. www.mediatechindia.com. I bought a TV PVR FM for Rs. 2000 from PC Guide ( lamington Road, Mumbai) in Oct'05. Reception is damn clear if your input is good. Supports Mpeg2/mpeg4 recording and though it uses some cpu cycles u can still manage to do other things ( except of course play games other than free cell etc.) like word processing, browsing etc....recording quality is excellent too.
 
Hey netbakwas.............u SURE of gettiing DAMM GOOD CLEAR Picture-Q,b,coz,i myself also getting one of those COMPRO Series TV-Cards,mayb the Gold 2,if not the PVR-FM9(which may b a little dated)

Anyway, any1 else with a BETTER recommendations of a GOOD TV card legeibly available in INDIA?

*** Dont wanna try the PINNACLE ones,my friend has compatibility issues with his graphics card & IMO COMPRO with Philips based tuners r better at Pic-quality,so anything else?
