PC Peripherals TV TUNER for LAPTOP

Hi guys, this is my first post. Techenclave really rocks..i love the updated price section the most.

I really need help buying my first external tv tuner for laptop. I have gone through various products but I am still confused.

My requirement is

1. It should be able to watch and record cable tv on to my laptop.
2. It should also be able to record from tata sky or similar service.

Can we buy only the analog onces or digital onces also work with cable tv ?

I have a few in mind...

I am using the Volar GO on my laptop as well as my office desktop. A good product. Dunno about the Tata Sky thingy though.
 
Guys please help me find one external usb tuner in India

Also if any one can provide me the approx cost of Avermedia AVerTV Volar GO USB Tuner in mumbai.

can record tatasky through composite input, provided by the avermedia card. good one.
