Hi all,

I am having issues running the Techcom SSD 670 TV tuner card (no FM) in my PC when using Windows 7 Home Premium SP 1. It works fine in Windows XP Pro SP 3. Windows 7 upgrade advisor shows the card to be compatible. The card shows up in Windows 7 device manager, But i dont get any video in windows media center :@. Only audio can be heard. I installed same driver as used in XP. Also, the system gets very slow while scanning for channels.

Please help me in resolving the issue. I do not want to install 3rd party software to view TV in Win 7. Thanks in advance.

Nothing gonna work other than third party tools. Use KMplayer to watch TV in Windows 7, setup WDM TV in options.

download latest windows 7 drivers for your tuner and install those. maybe the old xp drivers are incompatible with windows 7. which version of windows have you installed- 32 or 64bit?

check here for latest drivers or you can make windows search the net and install the latest drivers by itself automatically through control panel.
