PC Peripherals TV Tuner issues

Hi all,

I recently managed to get my hands on a used PCI TV tuner. I got it running but for some reason whenever i plug in the coaxial cable, my monitor starts to flicker a lot. Cant figure out the reason why this is happening. I have a GTX 260 and a benq 24 inch monitor. The drivers and softwares are up to date of both the Nvidia card as well as the TV tuner.

i was the one who had used this card earlier

dont know the solution to your problem but i can say that i never experienced any problems
 
M sure there is no problem with the card, Its more or less something to do with the cables and frequencies. Cant figure it out though.
 
try to connect the same to a crt monitor and check for the same,... or else any small noise signals may be disturbing the lcd.
 
^^ i too agree to the fact that its the signals that are creating the flickering but don have a solution to it. tried moving the cables a bit but din help. Also no access to a CRT monitor :(
