Hello guys i am thinking of buying a tv turner card ??
basic use for it is i need to convert all the sony video camera stuff onto dvd ....
so which is the best
will be purchasing somewhere in the end of december :)
pls let me know which is the best one...
and do i need to upgrade my ram to 2 gb or something so that my comp. speed doesnt get affected becos of it ??

best would be hauppauge, dunno how easil available it will be

compro and pinnacle are also choices, be sure to check if they are compatible with vista if you use it
 
YOu want to convert videos i guess..

Wat in name of god do u need a tv tuner card for??

simply copy the videos to harddisk and use some video converter,, even nero vision does a good job...

or try Winavi...
 
dude its not videos ...

i need first convert all the videos from my SONY HANDICAM(video camera)....

to the hard disk for which i need a tv turner card...
