Hollywood wildman Charlie Sheen's self-destructive joyride rolled on Friday with a series of rants that had one top producer comparing him to Lindsay Lohan.

At various points, he floated a bogus claim about a new talk show, insisted he was going back to "Two and a Half Men," and vowed not return unless the "turds" are fired.

Armed with a cell phone and an inflated ego, Sheen sent erratic text messages to celebrity news outlets all day, capping the gabfest with a warning to his foes.

"This is me warming up," Sheen texted People.com from the Bahamas, where he claims he's staying sober. "They have awoken a sleeping giant."

It was a manic escalation of the insanity that began Thursday when Sheen took to the radio airwaves to call the creator of his CBS sitcom, Chuck Lorre, a "stupid, stupid little man."

He pointedly referred to Lorre by his Jewish birth name, Chaim Levine - and then yesterday denied accusations it was fueled by bigotry.

He told TMZ he called Lorre by his real name "because I wanted to address the man, not the bulls--- TV persona."

Thursday's tirade prompted executives to pull the plug on the remaining episodes of "Two and a Half Men" that were slated to be filmed next week.

WTF !! Started watching it only earlier this month (S01). Its awesome fun. Somebody beat some sense into Sheen's head :@
 
He was looking really bad in the last two episodes. Wish they could have finished this season fully.
 
he really needs help.its actually good that he has been vanished.the show i believe will go on coz it has too much marketable potential.it regularly attracts 10 odd million viewers week after week which is incredible and only a few shows manage that
 
This show was sooooooooo much better than the over-hyped big bang theory...surely star of the show was Alan Harper...BBT lost it when they overdid the sheldon thingy.......i am left with "Sh!t my dad says" and "how i met your mother" now..

i am sure there will be plenty of disagreements with you.2 and a half men can never be better than bbt.
 
One of my most fav show's, really disappointing.

Being a comedy fan myself, i'd recommend "Mike and Molly", "Community", "Entourage" and "30 Rock" to you.

So you are sure those jokes are gonna be perma banned from the world of sitcoms and no other show is gonna go down the same path ?

you guys do know that the show is not actually scrapped right?

this season it managed to get 15 odd eps so is still decent imo.season 9 will be interesting.[if/when it happens]

Agreed.

Its not even like Sheen is quitting acting, i read somewhere that he'd start his own HBO show or something? Or maybe he can go back and do one more Scary movie? Damn i loved those!
 
Two and a Half Men is one of the best shows around! Even after 8 seasons, every episode is still hilarious and enjoyable.

It's sad that Sheen has gone whacko.
