Ehh, no they actually are possible.

In fact we had sorta similar situation a few months back at the port, we luckily escaped as the crane overload circuit tripped off thus cutting power to the hydraulic pumps...
 
The last one is a hoax, i think.

I have this set of pics in a PPT, but the last 1 of the Big Green Truck falling in wasnt there :S.
