This is just really cool IMO. In Philadelphia there's going to be drones moving down sidewalks making deliveries. 12 miles an hour seems kinda fast for a sidewalk tho.

I don't really like this trend, but of course it's obvious why delivery cos are pushing for it.

Considering an average US city, deliveries until now took up road resources, while sidewalks were mostly pedestrian resources, with some bicycle traffic. Considering the volume of deliveries, expanding sidewalk usage without expanding the sidewalks themselves is going to squeeze out pedestrians further.

Oh my god no!
Soon we will be infested with swarms of drones infesting our skies and intruding our lives like locusts when they attack.

The new Pennsylvania law allowing PDD’s, is arguably one of the least restrictive of any state outside of Florida, which is one of the least pedestrian friendly states in the United States.

More like goats or dogs with wheels.

I am not 100% certain you know what a drone is...
All I know about drones are either the one shown in 3 Idiots or the one shown in Body of Lies.

My problem is that there is nothing that stops infinite number of drones crowding all our spaces, and having potential to intrude our privacy.
