u torrent not detecting correct download status

i was downloading a specific torrent file of 40.2 gb (of which only 2-3 gb files were selected for downloading while rest were skipped)

i had almost done with 49.7 % of the download when suddenly my PC hanged and i had to force restart my PC ..

after i restarted the pc and started u torrent and i was shocked to see the status as 1.9 % download ...i almost felt like crying !!

i restarted u torrent 2-3 times..still the same ..

and den finally i just deleted the torrent job

and after restarting torrent..

i added the torrent and the specific files again for download in the same path

ie. C:

It started checking the files and finally the download status bar came and stopped at 19 % ..

but i very well remember i had finished almost 49-50 % of download

does this mean i have lost all that what was downloaded recently ???

is there no way i can bring back the download status bar to 49 % or nearby ???



please help me with quick replies..cause right now i have paused that torrent download...and need to resume it as soon as possible

This can happen, if the torrent client doesn't get closed/stopped properly during download. don't know much into the details of it, perhaps others can add..

Well it checked all the files right? and now its 19% .. looks like you lost the other 40%

i dont think you can recover dat 40% but did u force check ur files again ??... sometimes the client doesnt know about the updated stats till we force check the torrent !!
