Canonical is going full steam ahead with their Ubuntu Touch OS for smartphones and tablets. They are pushing real hard by releasing working or semi-working images or work in progress images for a slew of popular Android smartphones and tablets. Check out if your device has got a release too!
Ubuntu Touch Preview

Canonical has started publishing daily builds of their Ubuntu Touch OS for testing and development purposes by the community. It's good to see Ubuntu Touch being published for devices not bearing the Nexus tag as well. Currently, there are three categories of images, "Running fine", "Sort of working", and "Work in progress". Sadly, only the Nexus devices fall under the "Running fine" category (should change soon, seeing Canonical's progress and community participation).

These images are fully functional and can be used as a daily driver.
