Hi,

I'm looking forward to buy Acer aspire V5 123 which is having AMD E12100 with readeon HD 8210. But i'm liitle worry about its performance.
I already have a 13.3 inch notebook which is Dell inspiron N4050 which is very quiet heavy and generally heats up too much. It cant even play nfs underground or prostreet consistently. It has i3 2330M. And I'm fed up up of its overheating issues and weight.

So i need a ultraportable notebook with preferrablr AMD( so that i can game casually like underground, prostreet, CMR3/4), weigt less than 1.4Kg, screen size less than 14 inch.

Can anyone help me in this??

Thank you for the reply. And extremely sorry for not mentioning my exact requirements.

Actually my dell laptop is already serviced by dell executive. Still overheating is there. Even my all other colleagues are having same problem with hp laptop which is running same chipset. Even while playing youtube videos the fan becomes noisy.

And I`m a frequent traveller so I need a cheap ultraportable, light laptop for officework, and very light gaming for killing time. Games will be older than 2008 like nfs pro street, sega rally etc.
But this laptop is for mainly office work. I'm worried because in some forums or reviews I have read that it cannot handle youtube videos, pdf files and word processing is also slow. If this is true can you tell me any other alternative? I can extend my budget upto 35k but weight should be less than 1.5 kg ( main requirement).

And agin sorry for long post

I too was in similar situation with weight constraint about two years ago. I needed one for college use - MBA course. I ended up buying used Macbook Air 13. However if looking for windows based laptops only, I could find few Dell and HP models weighing ~2kg for 35k budget.

Dell Vostro 14 V3446
HP 14-R004TU

Asus X200 series is also there. Battery life will not be too good as they used a puny battery.
X200 series has a 11.6 inch screen. 1.4KG weight.
I think there is one version with 4th gen i3. The onboard gfx in 4th gen should be good enough for the games I think. Don't remember if there is one with dedicated gfx.
