Unable to connect to FTP's - Connection Refused

Well I am sharing my internet connection through a LAN and the router is installed on another machine running Vista.

Now, whenever I try to connect to any FTP server I get an error saying Connection Refused.

So how would I go about fixing this error ?

Hi,

PLZ tell me the solution because i have the same problem. No matter what i do in Vista i cant connect to any ftp (or mail server)...

Any help/tips appreciated!

Hm, im not sure we're talking about the same thing here. I dont run an FTP myself. I want to use my FTP-client to upload files to my webhotel. But something is blocking all my outgoing ports? :huh:

I cant get my Outlook to work either. (?) ..and no webradio is working unless i use IE and i dont want to runt things ny IE.

Any help appreciated
