Hi folks,

I just upgraded my graphics card to a HD 6790 and along with that i was forced to upgrade my system to Windows 2003 server (which was previously Windows 2000).

Windows 2003 accepted the 11.9 drivers (drivers ONLY) without any hassels. How ever i am unable to find the 1080 horizontal resolution in any available combination.

FYI.
I have also updated the monitor driver and it reflects correctly in the systems device manager.

Please help.
 
maybe its a limitation of windows server os?

if driver was successfully installed, you should be able to see all supported screen resolutions in the desktop settings pane.

fact that its not visible, is either its not supported by the os or its hidden.
 
Thanks for some lead Vivek. Eagerly waiting to get back home and try this out.
But are you sure it works for windows server operating systems?
 
Well, the webpage for the software is down, and although the cached page says that all Win OS are supported, no explicit mention of the server OS. Well, give it a try.
