Re: Anti-virus software problem!!!

^It looks like like you have a virus problem.
these viruses now block antivirus websites, probably by hijacking DNS entries.
Try to see if you can install SuperAntiSpyware and Avira Antivirus, and do a thorough scan.
If you manage to get the name of the virus, you can search on the internet for help in removing it.

Finally, the cleanest, best, and obviously last option, would be to format your system

I had once similar problem in one of my office PC. Your system is infected.

Download the bootable CD of Kaspersky, burn a CD and boot and scan your system with it. Since you are unable to open any AV site - try downloading it through torrents.

Try installing another antivirus if avg and avast antivirus did not remove this virus. Download trial version of Norton antivirus and then see. Also install a good antispyware program like Spyware Terminator. Sometimes it can be a spyware also.

please follow the steps below

if so pls navigate to c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc

you shall file a hosts file there, open it with notepad

your host file should look like below , anything else please delete that

# Copyright (c) 1993-2009 Microsoft Corp.

#

# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.

#

# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each

# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should

# be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.

# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one

# space.

#

# Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual

# lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.

#

# For example:

#

# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server

# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host

# localhost name resolution is handled within DNS itself.

# 127.0.0.1 localhost

# ::1 localhost
