Unable to open Asus QIS page in the browser... Please Help...

My friend bought Asus RT-N10+ router and he is unable to open Asus QIS setup page... Even i tried to do so but with no success...

Here are the things that i have tried to solve the problem.

1. In Asus manual its written that QIS page automatically opens once you connect the router but as it was not opening i tried to open it by putting 192.168.1.1 but still the page didn't open...

2. Tried resetting the router and repeated the 1st option... still the page didn't open

My friend has Hathway's FIOS connection... I know that he would have to bind the mac address of the new router to use internet but the QIS page is not opening only...

I know many TE members have Asus routers so your help would be highly appreciated... Do i have to change any proxy setting?

Check if he any settings saved in the LAN properties of his network adapter. Make sure they are set to detect settings automatically and no static IP has been assigned.

If 192.168.1.1 doesn't work, try 192.168.0.1
