Unable to open CorelDraw x5 / x6

Hi,

I run Coreldraw x5 on my Dell inspirion 14r (i3, 6 gb) running Windows 7 (64 bit).

I have been using CorelDraw x5 effortlessly for the past 1.5 yrs. Recently i had re-formatted the laptop and re-installed Win7 (64 bit) with all related drivers.

Since yesterday i have been getting the following error message whenever i try to run Corel x5 "UNABLE TO LOAD CORELDRW.DLL. ERROR CODE : 998". Tried finding solutions for this on the net and corel forums but none have found a solution for this error.

I tried repairing, re-installing the software but still the same error message.

I even downloaded and installed a trial version of x6 but still the error message.

Any solutions? Could this be due to Win7?
 
m using corel x5 on win 7 64bit without any issues... uninstall using revo uninstaller ..select advanced mode uninstallation is complete.. it cleans all the registry files n leftovers n thn install again ..hope that helps :)
 
followed as suggested by girish925. uninstalled the program using revo uninstaller and re-installed it. but the problem still persists.

I don't know what happend. It worked flawlessly till day before yesterday. I have not installed any new program and made any upgrades so do not know what could be the reason.
 
I have been able to successfully install and work with Coreldraw x5 now. I used Wise Registry Cleaner to clean up the registry and all left over links / folders etc. and voila.
