Security Software Unable to open M$/Kaspersky/Norton & other Security websites

Guys, i m unable to open MS, Kaspersky, Norton and other security websites. TRied cleaning the system with Conickfer/Downadup Removal tool by Bitdefender but it says system clean ...

Any other good cleaner for this virus .. or the one which is possible infecting my system ??:
 
Make a hijackthis log and post it at the hijacthis.de site for analysis. Probably something would turn up in the log.
 
Check your host file located in C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

Open it with notepad, you should find something like this

# Copyright (c) 1993-1999 Microsoft Corp.
#
# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.

# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should

What most spyware do is put AV software address in here and resolve it to your local host and hence once infected you won't be able to go to those sites to download AV

If you are able to open Avira website, try downloading it on another PC and install through a pendrive. It has the most extensive scanner among all the AVs out there. If it cannot catch something, nothing will.
 
great, this happened to my system 2-3 times, I simply reinstalled the system.. I'll keep this way in mind now :D
