Unable to p2p and ICS

I have a laptop with single onboar lan card Broadcom 440x max 100mbps.

also i have biostar 790gx mobo with onboard realtek gigabyte max 1000mbps and intex silan max 100 mbps pci lan card.

Using cross cable I got success with P2P with laptop n pc via PCs onboard lan card.

but no success with with the PCI lan card.

It appears Red cross at both end, pc n lappy.

wat could be the issue??

I want to have an ICS between these two.

plz help experts.

i think u dint get me clear.

theres no question of dhcp here.

as i'm able to connect via my Pcs onboard lan with lappy lan but not with Pcs pci card lan with lappy.

having manual ips set.

If u get a message saying "Network cable is unplugged(atleast dats wat i undesrtand when u say u get a red cross).
It means your pc's lan card is not working properly and is damaged.
You need to change the lan card and that should fix your problem.
 
no. its working fine when i plugin the network cable alone. i surf the net n downloaded etc... bt still unable get the reason why they both r not syncing.

It still says Network cable is unplugged.
