unable to sync videos on ipod touch 4g

hey guys,

i have downloaded south park season 15 in MP4 format...but for some reason i am unable to sync it on my device...

its on 4.3.3...

please help

I believe the codec's are not supported. Either convert it to appropriate codec or download any media player like avplayer and play any format without any issue.

P.s. Mp4 is just a container bro. To play you should encode to h264 or similar codec's, correct me if im wrong..

thanks man....

but the issue is i couldnt get it to sync on my ipod... would installing avplayer will resolve the issue ?
 
are you saying that you cant sync those videos thru itunes.

if yes, than that will be the codec problem...

you can also try some freeware available thru web and convert those video and the sync again...

and if you are not interesed in converting each and every file, download media players like avplayer, 8player or goodplayer...

is your itouch jb'ed

ya i can't sync it from my itunes to my itouch... and its not jb'kd... i was also wandering that it might be some issue with the codec ....

A lot of freeware are available in web, just download and reencode. Then sync back to itouch.

Hope you find the solution.

Try to copy using copy trans. If you have AV player then copy in that through itunes.

I have 3rd gen ipod touch and copy trans allows me to copy 720p files which play smoothly although itunes doesn't.
