Android Unable to transfer files to SD card in Mi Pad

Im unable to transfer files to the sd card in the MiPad, apparently kitkat issue. Have rooted and applied the SDFix app but still doesn't work.

So those looking to extend the storage using the sd card, Please be ware
 
haven't tried moving apps , but moving audio /video.
There are threads in miui forums but nothing is working for me yet
 
^^ That is surprising. After reading your post, I clicked a few pics, and then moved them from the internal memory to the SD card. It went smoothly. Have your tried replacing with some other SD card and trying? Are you getting any error message?
