Under 1000/- Headphone suggestion.

-main use will be for movies and songs.

-Was using Sennheiser HD201 (bought it for around 1300/- ) for the last 4 years but now one side is giving some problem. was quite satisfied with its sound & build quality. so thinking of buying HD 180(cost around Rs 900/-) this time.

-So, is Sennheiser HD180 okay? or do you guys have better suggestion for under 1000/- headphone?

-Also, will Sennheiser honor the warranty if I buy it online from flipkart or amazon?

I'm too particular about things especially when it comes to music...... earlier i was using apple earphones and choosing a new brand for me was a bit difficult .....

Now lets talk abt the headphones...

Its damn awesome!!!! good treble , nice amount of bass , sound is very much balanced.... you'll definitely fall in love with it ..
Sound quality is way superior when compared to other jbl (jbl t26c,250si....etc) & sennheiser (hd 180)... I keep the equalizer on ROCK to enjoy the every beat and sound of the G N' R ....

My rating for the product:
BASS : 9.5/10
TREBLE : 9/10
Product quality : 7/10

OVER ALL PERFORMANCE : 10/10
 
ended up ordering Sennheiser HD180. I was pretty satisfied with the sound & build quality of the HD201 I had, that I didnt wanna go for anything else. got them delivered yesterday and been using them for a while now. I couldn't tell any difference in the sound and build quality. HD180 is as good as HD201. Actually In a few songs I felt the bass of HD180 to be a little better than 201.
