According to the review from techarp, it would take just over 6 minutes to completely fill out Kingston DataTraveler Ultimate 3.0 16 GB flash drive, and under 5 minutes to copy out its entire contents.

Yes, it's USB 3.0 drive and also compatible with USB 2.0 port.
 
At present except some premier highspeed drives, the flash drives are not utilizing even the 1/4th capacity of USB 2.0 interface. 90% of the drives max out at 4-5mbps write speeds including the corsair. Some high speed drives being sold by our TE delaer Mediahome promise to be faster. I still remember those old days when flash drives used to come with SLC chips and offered sustained write speeds in excess of 10MB/s. As the capacity increased and price decreased the write speed went down like anything.
